cheers both Jim, funnily enough I had noticed the panhard rod mounting bolts (and anti-roll bar mounts) and thought it a little crude, I was planning to plate behind them as you say (the boot floor seems a bit to flexible for my liking) roughly how big a plate do I need? I was thinking about something 1/4 A4 paper size and sandwich with polyurethane between? if you give me an idea on yours ill have something to go off, cheers buddy.
I had a suspicion that the lights were bonded to the hinge and I don't fancy wrecking the car trying to get them off (kind of job ive always dived into before and regretted it later) so ill mull it over for a while and probably make some sort of rubber locator to buffer the top of the light unit and stop it rattling. ive got a decent CD player installed now so that's a start and my new seatbelts should be here today, spent most of yesterday restoring the paint finish, I hate polishing faded paint..... only got the bonnet and driver door done too :( -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Quantum Owners Group" group.
