Well tonight I have been finishing the fitting of a temp gauge and an oil pressure gauge and all I had to do was connect the lighting bulbs, so I chose a live wire from a gauge installed by a previous owner, however it did not work as the feed came from an invention by the devil himself and a pet hate of mine...............a scotch lock grrrrrrrrr I removed it and soldered the wires and hey presto lights. Scotch blocks are marginal at best and in the case of a kit car that may be left without use for several months, not much cop and maybe even dangerous. errrrrrrr rant over.
