Might also be good to get some details together of our cars that have covered over 100 000 miles and owners who may have used their cars for long distance commuting to work, or maybe those who use their cars to tow caravans etc - to build up the case for saying that Quantums are up to all the tasks that are consistent with their size. The End to End run was also a kind of reliability trial and was completed by a significantly large group of cars. If we presented to the editor a list of 'bullet points' indicating the aspects that we think are relevant and a list of the types of photos we have available it would help to build a convincing case for a short series of articles. On the topic of unusual re builds we must not forget our member in Canada, there may be others, and among the unusual builders we might start with the girl apprentice at a garage who was given a kit as a 17th birthday present and built it herself and I believe also attained recognition as Apprentice of the Year, sadly her car was stolen and torched.
