I was wondering if the knowledgeable and connected ones in the group could advise me as to the realistic price I could expect for my Quantum 2+2. Is e-bay the best place to advertise?
Bought in 1994, 1985 XR2 1.6 CVH donor, and SVA tested in 2003. (Retirement hobby so I took my time.) White, black hood and red carpets. Electric windows, Webber twin choke, braided brake hose, cunifer brake lines and new petrol tank. New starter, alternator and converted to dual fuel (LPG) 11/04 and 40k miles later it has paid for the conversion many times over. Replaced brake servo and new clutch 11/12. Used daily until 10/12 when I inherited a Z3. Spares:- Rear axle locating bars, front cast iron tie bar mounts, instrument pod and heater motor. Some of you may have seen it at Stoneleigh 2011. I have also almost every quantum mag issued, the original sales brochures, Ford XR2 hand book, Two build manuals, Haynes manual and the KIT CAR mag that reviewed the quantum. Tax and MOT until 1/2013 and my son has photos on his phone. Jan I will put together something about running a LPG Quantum for the magazine and get it to you before the 17th.
