Cheers Steve, greatly appreciate the help. scirocco 74 is a mk1 I believe. A lot of people have told me it's a scirocco glass with chevette seal which is why I tried a scirocco window but was a tiny bit too long. A guy I talked to who specialises in kit car glass said that vw made a lot of variations of the mk1's and mk2s, that some of the glass is a bit different. so finding the ones I need will be difficult.
