I can turn my steering wheel about 1.5cm before the wheels move and when I turn the steering wheel I can hear a thwack in the steering rack pigion - just before the wheels move.
can it be adjusted by tightening the slipper nut or do I need to rebuild/a replacement unit? Hans. Is it normal on the coupe that the half of the steering gear pinion and yoke are in the bulkhead and sealed with a lot of sealer inside a large hole in the bulkhead.
