Are there inaccuracies with standard parts? When my saloon was put on the laser alignment at the Ford Aveley pilot build plant, we found that it was a lot closer than production cars - additionally the front wheel tracking which I'd done using pieces of string was only 0.10 deg out (we corrected it!). So it's also possible with very rudimentary equipment to achieve quite high accuracy (it just takes more time!)

Hi Derek
If you are going that far, and btw I would go down the modded frame route to. Don't forget to strip out all the metal work at the same time and protect the lot. I now have a contact for adjustable trailing arms and panhard rod if you need them. This would allow for a much more acurate 4 wheel alignment to be achived.
