on the 2+2 I have the 17.5mm - non XR2 rear brakes
on the coupe i use the 20.6mm - XR2 rear brakes - recently replaced one.

I hope that helps, in as much as it gives some pointers once the piston
diameter is measured. Most motor factors will be able to cross reference the
ford part numbers (it's very unlikely to be available from a Ford main dealer)

The Manual states that the company supply alternative brake cylinders for
the 2+2, and one of mine has a totally rounded bleed nipple - I will try to
remove and replace with a new one, but will also buy a replacement cylinder as
a backup, BUT I have no idea which one to buy(!), as I assume it is a smaller
one from , say a 1.4 Fiesta, not an XR2
Does anyone know which one I should be going for?
