That was what I thought Jim, have K&N chrome filter fitted & have disconnected the crankcase breather from exiting into filter/carb, fitted a small filter on top of the crankcase breather part instead. All little vacuum cylinders on pipe are still in place, must have a look for the blank your talking about, mine is a manual choke too if that's what temp. sensor is for. Cheers, Calum
