I’m not sure if it’s just the hoses. I think it can also affect seals in fuel pump, fuel pressure regulators and injectors etc. I seem to remember E5 petrol had a very bad effect on the seals in the old Jetronic metering units as used in the Escort XR3I and RS Turbo
I guess i should probably replace the flexible rubber pipe in the 2+2, that will still be whatever was around when i built it in the 90’s !
