I want to offset the rendering of a quartz component by 5 seconds... How would I go about doing that? I already have a quartz composition made, I just need to be able to be delay this by 5 seconds...
I think this can be done by modifying the component's time base (right click, or ctrl-click the componenet in question, and change its timebase to external).
then, use a patchtime patch to get the compositions time, run it through a math patch to subtract 5 (seconds), and use the output to drive the component's time input (called "Patch Time").
