having just ordered a new macbook pro, i would really like to know if
this issue deals with all machiness with this card or relies on
certain conditions. also if the 512mhz card in the new mbp
fundamentally differs from previous models concerning this. is it a
known issue that can be dealt with by firmware, drivers etc by apple,
or is it actually the hardware? i'd rather have an honest reply and
cancel my order than receive the machine and being disappointed for
years. could we expect the same issue with upcoming 8800 mobile?
