Hi list I¹ve been banging my head against the desk working on this one. I¹m modifying the RSS screensaver and want to have it automatically update every 10 minutes or so. So far I¹m having zero luck. I know I¹m able to turn the composition off and on, but I¹d like to let it stay on and run constantly. Is this even possible?
I think update signal might have something to do with it, but I don¹t know how to specify any kind of value for how often it updates. I¹ve also tried specifying that Safari reach out for updates every few minutes via a terminal command I found on macosxhints.com, but that apparently is only for Tiger and is ineffective on Leopard. I¹m using Leopard and Quartz Composer v3.0. Also, I¹m a mega noob on this. If someone could help, I¹d be very very appreciative. Many thanks, Josh
