Hi Josh,
The update parameter of the RSS patch is a Boolean signal. You could attach
a button to it in a regular app, but in a screen saver setting the most
useful thing to do is set up a Low Frequency Oscillator (LFO Patch) to
periodically set that port to true. It will update on the leading edge of
the signal.
