In Snow Leopard 10.6, when I run PhotoBooth with lots Quartz Composer effects, I notice several crashes and all the available memory being used up and not freed. Has anybody else notice this?
I've observed a number of subtle driver issues revolving around this (various CoreImage crashes, perhaps some other GPU-related quirks, some CL compiler crashes, etc.) -- posting crash logs/filing bug reports will help Apple et. al. track them down for a future update/ help users of this list add details/not report duplicate problems.
In the very early days of leopard, I remember some CI bugs on ATI GPUs, not sure if those ever got fixed. They weren't as apparent as an actual crash, mind you...
