Thanks for the info on that workaround. I had kept wondering why I hadn't
seen this - it's because I'd simply taken the stock template as a check.

I did another quick test where I flipped over to the resize chain and built
a screensaver; automating any input keeps any "flashing" from happening.

Taking that further, hooking an interpolation patch with start val of 1, and
and val of 1 to the Enable on the Billboard stops all flashing and keeps you
from having to introduce any processing in the chain (at least on my
system).
