Hi Jaygo You might like to take a look at Kineme's Freeboard patch. It allows direct access to the keyboard in a live way like you want. There is a minor bug in the Keyboard patch which means that the Freeboard modifier keys can muck up inputs from the Keyboard patch when they are used together (e.g. for gaming key inputs) occasionally. Well in Leopard that was the case anyhow. IIRC cwright said he took the bug-track but it was no easy to fix as as far as I know remains unfixed.
