And it works!? Please do share how! :)

I also have a brand new 4th gen x1 carbon and have spent the past week
struggling to get it to a usable state.

Do you have the horrible rainbow screen on resume?

What kernel are you running in dom0?

Was there some magic bios settings combination required to get R3.2 to
actually boot post install?

Are you on a sata ssd? or nvme?

What model exactly? Mine's a 20FB-CT01WW.

I've wasted so much time on this that I'm considering just returning
it. I really hate supporting lenovo since they seem hostile and/or
incompetent (the "lets ship the same root ca w/ private key on every
machine", the LSE bios-sideloading of vulnerable crap into windows,
now the dubious yoga raid thing, etc.), but their hardware is still
the best option I am aware of. I *want* to like librem, but since
their coreboot support is (so far) vaporware, I see no real difference
between them and lenovo except for lenovo having a
generation-more-recent cpus at a lower price. I support their claimed
ideology, but so far it seems like just marketing hype that remains
unrealized.

I'm still holding on hope that one day I might have a risc-v novena
running genode and actually be able to get my work done on it...
*sigh*
