That's very strange: if you're using clearnet then I'd be looking
carefully at the update proxy - what's showing in that policy file? If it's
sys-net then look at sys-net logs to see if there's an issue there.

I think the Fedora problem is a known issue, not relevant here. Fix on
its way.
