Nope. I created a templatebasedappvm, started it, tried to install something temporarily (forgot to add to original template vm, and didn't want to go thru the long process of shutting down current, starting template, installing app, stopping template, restarting vm, resuming work). Gets the same error. Have to apply temp fix to any vm created from template.
