The NMEA driver automagically uses the PPS stuff, whether you want it to or not. It would be nice to have a flag to disable that feature so you could collect data on the NMEA text mode and separately run an ATOM driver if you want data on the PPS stuff. -- These are my opinions, not necessarily my employer's.
