I have 15 HP Proliant DL 580s and 11 DL 360s all running Linux and NTP4.2.2.

They are configured to use the local stratum 1 servers. What I am noticing is
that:

the 580s have drift values between -31 and -91 while the 360s range between -8
and +7

The 580s have offsets between 0.3 and 6.5 (absolute value) while the 360s range
between .006 and .997 (except for one outlier)

Does anyone know why the 580s are so much worse than the 360s or offer
suggestions for troubleshooting the problem?

Regards,

David
