Whilst I guess that this is a "time island" case, is orphan mode a good
description of the other (and possibly original) use of the local clock
driver, namely where the local clock is disciplined to true time, but by
means other than NTP?
He still needs to get rid of the bogus IPv6 loop back to himself.
