If one uses the leapfile, are spurious leap second notifications like this one discarded? >From the docs at http://doc.ntp.org/4.2.6/ntpd.html#leap I can't understand if the leapseconds file is authoritative at the point that, if a leap second notification is received for a leap second not in the file, it is discarded. If so, that would help to avoid spurious leap seconds like this one.
