International Potato Year 2008 United Nations has declared the year 2008 as International Potato Year. Potato is a delicious and cheaper vegetable, affordable to poor and can solve the problem hunger. So the United Nations have taken a step to promote Potato by declaring year 2008 as International Potato year.
