1. Two-Way "Conversations"
...........................

"Conversations with Other Women" tells the compelling story of a couple
whose reunion at a wedding reception ignites a mysterious attraction for
each other that is deeper and more emotionally perilous than they are
actually willing to admit.

A simple question, deriving from personal experience, drives filmmaker
Hans Canosa's story: What would you do if you had a second chance with
someone you once loved? But the complexity of the answer seemed to
require Canosa's duplex method of telling it.

Canosa's new twist on this very old theme was the idea of balancing the
man-woman equation visually on a split screen. Canosa, who grew up
without movies in a family of conservative Christian missionaries, is an
exquisitely careful director who spent two years storyboarding
"Conversations" before ever shooting a frame, obsessively mapping angles
and balancing visual freights and weights.

Read how Canosa used Final Cut Pro to edit the entire movie. And enjoy
the movie trailer.

When the coach (Greg Kinnear) of a beloved hometown football team hosted
an unprecedented open tryout, the public consensus was that it was a
waste of time--no one good enough to play professional football was
going to be found this way.

Certainly no one like Vince Papale (Mark Wahlberg)--a down-on-his-luck,
30 year-old, substitute teacher and part-time bartender who never even
played college football. But against these odds, Papale made the team
and soon found himself living every fan's fantasy--moving from his cheap
seats in the upper deck to standing on the field as a professional
football player.

Inspired by the true story of Papale, a man with nothing to lose who
ignored the staggering odds and made his dream come true, "Invincible"
opens in theaters today.
