Yesterday I began getting this error message in MetaStock whenever I opened a file - "Folder does not contain MetaStock files." The file still opens in MetaStock, but I get a popup message indicating this error both before and after the file opens.
This began after my typical download of that day's data, followed by the automatic running of QP Metastock export. I did not do anything to the Metastock files since the prior day's download. I have tried deleting the MetaStock files and the folder, and then creating a new folder and exporting the tickers to that new folder. It did not help. This seems to be happening in all of my MetaStock folders. I've been doing this for years and have never had a problem like this before. Any idea what is causing this or suggestions? Tom
