I had a similar problem. I was away for a few days, when I returned and tried to update all my Metastock folder had data deleted from Nov 1 to Nov 27. Note that the QP data was correctly updated, it just wasn't being exported to Metastock and some existing data was deleted. I was able to update some folders by updating from QP, others had to be deleted and exporting the data using the SPP module. One odd thing occurred, AMEX was updated through QP, but both NASDAQ and NYSE had to be corrected by deleting and importing using SPP. This sort of thing has happened before when I have been away for a few days. Lionel

The file still opens in MetaStock, but I get a popup message indicating this error both before and after the file opens. This began after my typical download of that day's data, followed by the automatic running of QP Metastock export. I did not do anything to the Metastock files since the prior day's download. I have tried deleting the MetaStock files and the folder, and then creating a new folder and exporting the tickers to that new folder. It did not help. This seems to be happening in all of my MetaStock folders. I've been doing this for years and have never had a problem like this before. Any idea what is causing this or suggestions?
