A couple more things before this all fades off into "What was that again?"
I am using Excel 2007 SP1. The "Done" macro still bombs me hard in the "QP2 Macros" Excel file. I don't quite get why that is even showing up on the macro list. It is defined as: Public Declare Sub Done Lib "qpr2vb" () It is the only QP2 lib funtion that takes no argument. I think maybe MS has a problem here with Excel 2007 VBA. Anyway the "Done" macro still crashes me. The others work fine. I ran the "setupQp2" macro first. I don't know if you have to or not but I think so. I have valid folder names. Had to change the "QP2 data directory" and make the "DISKBUFF" folder. I've run it mutiple times. If you don't turn off the UAC the "setupQp2" macro seems to run fine but doesn't actually get the registry work done. No error message just no work. My head hurts, Brian
