I just downloaded the evaluation copy last week so it should be new.
The "About" says:

File Version 3.0.0.7
Release 3.1 Build 3.1.0.0

I was a long time user and let my subscription lapse a couple of
years ago. I've been thinking about starting again and wanted to see
if everything still worked the same.

The "QP2 Macros.xls" file is located in the "\Quotes Plus Data\Excel"
folder. I doubt that this Excel program has been changed for a long
time. I've messed with it so the date stamp is new and I can't see
when it was changed before.

I couldn't get any of my old stuff to work so I tried the sample
Excel stuff. Once I got this sample Excel stuff to work by disabling
the UAC, POOF my stuff worked too. I don't really know if my stuff
would have worked without running the sample stuff or not.

I still have to have the UAC diabled to run any of it, but it works
if I turn it off. I've only tried the simplest one of my old
programs, but I think the rest will be ok - HOPE!.

If you want to know the nuts and bolts of why - go to google groups
and search for "vista vba dll register" or some such thing and read
till you get a headache too. QP2 isn't the only place Vista is doing
the same thing. I'd post the link but I don't think we are allowed.

So anyway, turn off the UAC then run the "Qp2setup" macro in the "QP2
Macros.xls" Excel program and you get the stuff registered. Then it
seems to work fine - at least so far.
