Qutecom 2.2, 2.2.1 and now 3.0 Beta all exhibit the same behaviour.
When you install Qutecom on a laptop or a computer that 'sleeps' or
'hibernates' (and so loses connectivity for some period to the network)
- when you then wake up that machine Qutecom cannot reconnect and gets
stuck in a 'connecting' state but never re-registers with the SIP host.
The only way to get it to reconnect is to log off and then log on again.
This is a serious usability issue - since so many people now have
laptops or computers that sleep to conserve power. Is there a fix for
this issue or any plans to resolve this problem in 3.0?
This did not seem to happen in some of the early RC releases and in
Wengo 2.1 releases - so seems to have been introduced after the switch
to Qutecom development.
If you could fix this one issue then it would make the softphone
excellent since we have no major stability issues with the 2.2.1 release
at least.
