Quick suggestion:

If you know the events/controlers you want to delete, go to tools, more tools, and delete controlers and do that until it's done. If you need to do it to all tracks, tools, apply to all tracks, then repeat the above process.
Then reenter your data and it should stick.
I hope this helps.
If not I'll come up with something else, like you could add your info on beat 1 instead of 0.

Subject: QWS List A question about edeting commercial midi files

Hi list,
I have a file, where I think most information about all tracks lies in the
first track, maybe as sysx data, or something else. I'm not yet quite
familiar with the event list in QWS and how to use it.

I'll attach the file to illustrate the problem.

When I open the init propperties for a track and change the parameters as
wanted and press ok everything seams fine untill I replay the file from the
beginning. Then my settings are overruled.

How can you deal with such problems in a commercial file?

Thanks in advance.

best regards
Brian
