You should take the contents of track 9 and put it into track 10, right over
top of the original track 10. In other words, track 10 normally has kick and
snare drums, track 9 has ride cymbals and other sounds that carry the beat
along smoothly, at least that's what my yamaha does. Microsoft doesn't know
that track 9 contains drums though, it only knows that drums are on track
10. This happens with most other synths too. Simply cut the contents of
track 9 and paste it into track 10 right over top of what was already there.
Delete track 9 now as you have already moved its contents.

Hi Leonard.
On Friday, October 19, 2007 9:41 AM,
Leonard de Ruijter happened to mention in passing:
Hey,
I have a yamaha dgx 205 keybord. how can i see my keybord is gm or not?
i
will add the instruments list i have made to this post.
That will be XG. Microsoft GS synth won't support that. To play your
drums back on other XG-complient devices, you should set the drum track
to 11, and the bank to 16256.
Yamaha without SysX give you two drum kits, track 10 and another track on
16256. Hope this helps.
