Hi Rod, I used to get those error messages to. However, I am using Windows XP and a Yamaha USB Driver. I'm not sure what that means, but I can provide a suggestion to try and fix it. Try unplugging your USB driver from your computer and your keyboard and then plug it back in. Please let me know if this solves your problem. Hope that helps. Sincerely, Janelle
