Hi Rod,
I used to get those error messages to. However, I am using Windows XP and a
Yamaha USB Driver. I'm not sure what that means, but I can provide a suggestion
to try and fix it. Try unplugging your USB driver from your computer and your
keyboard and then plug it back in. Please let me know if this solves your
problem. Hope that helps.
Sincerely,
Janelle

  Subject: QWS List Error Message

  Hello,

I wanted to hook up my Casio PX400r so that I could record. I installed what
I believe to be the correct driver from the Casio site. Vista did say that the
driver is working. After closing QWS and restarting it, I received the
following error:

Could not open MIDI IN device: CASIO USB MIDI-OUT 1

What does that mean? Is this why I cannot record anything?

  Appreciate any help.
