Well, when I load a file I get a nasty message saying that I'm specifying the 
midisport and I have to change it.
I guess what I'm saying is that QWS can't find the midisport.
The driver (I guess that's what one calls it) is located in the program files 
folder.
If I moved it to the qws folder, do you think that might help??

  Hi Doug,

  Another thing you can do is to use the Set All Ports on the Track menu. 
  This pops up a list of all available ports and you choose the one you want. 
  It changes the ports used by an existing file.

  All the other suggestions are also very useful and you should follow them 
  for setting things up for future MIDI files you write.
