Hi, um, shaun, you know what qws is right?
Qws is a sequencer, it's not an audio program.
Midi isn't an audio format it's a data format.
The below is barely relevant and certainly not to the development of a free
and excellent sequencer.
Qws does what it says it does and nothing more and that for mine and many
other of it's users is one of it's greatest strong points.
if you're not a midi writer, you don't need qws in fact youu probably can't
use it.
No point importing midis into audacity projects, there is no value in doing
this.
There are combination multi track recorders and sequencers already on the
market, take a look at cake walk for example.
Cheers!

WELL JAMES i DON'T KNOW IF YOU CAN ADD THIS IN BUT i'D LIKE A FEATURE
EITHER USING THE LAME ENCODERS OR SOMETHING TO GET MP3S AND OGGS TO
CONVERT TO AS WELL AS MIDIS, i AM NOT A WRITER OF MIDS BUT ITS ALWAYS IS
NICE FOR A LISTNER.
ALSO i THINK IT WOULD REALLY ROCK IF YOU COULD HAVE THINGS TO BE ABLE TO
BE IMPORTABLE INTO AUDACITY AS PROJECTS THOUGH THATS PROBABLY REDUNDANT.

Hi,
There will be a new version of QWS, but I have no idea when. I have
not managed to spend a great deal of time programming out of work
hours, so not much progress. As to features - I'm not saying for the
moment.
Another project I am trying to work on is a tutorial, but again, a lot
of work still needs to be done.
Thank you for your patience.
James.
