Hi,
You can set the ports for your tracks, and so set different instruments to
different keyboards. The port selection is in the track properties. But if
you use an instrument specifically for one keyboard, and then decide later
to use another, chances are it won't work as expected and you'll have to fix
it. Depending on the synths you use, it might be as simple as changing an
instrument, but sometimes it'll be much more difficult. If you're only doing
GM though, you shouldn't have to do much, just switch the port and it should
be fine.

Hi Aaron,
When you created the new tracks, did you go into track properties by
pressing enter on the tracks in the list, and make sure that the channels
were set to different numbers. Drum tracks must be on channel 10 if you
intend it to have it played correctly with all GM synthesizers. If you're
making it for your own synth that you are using, and for no other, than
you can play with all of the features of that synth without fear.
