QWS List bassmidi problem

Hi,
My friend, who was previously using Microsoft GS Wavetable, is having a problem 
with Bassmidi, and I'm not so sure it's a Bassmidi thing or an issue with QWS.
With Microsoft, he says he could hold notes down on the on-screen keyboard and 
it would work fine, but with Bassmidi, if he holds them down for a second or 
so, they start repeating very quickly as if key repeat was interfering. he uses 
windows 7. Does anyone have any idea what's going on?
