Hi, KSP means key scale panning and these pan left as you go lower and right as you go higher, usually from middle C. For a brilliant example of this take a listen to the gran piano in the pc51 sound font you’ve spoken of before.
D is I’m pretty certain for a darker version of a sound and W, I’m not certain about but if memory serves is a sound panned according to key, but could also be for a wide sound, as in a stereo version of a sound, sorry I can’t be of more help with the 3rd one, sure someone else here can help, <smile>. hth. When going through the XG instrument list, there are some instruments with the letters KSP at the end. Those instruments pan further to the left with lower notes, and more to the right with higher notes. But with GS and maybe other instrument lists, things are different. The first three instruments of the GS instrument list, are piano1, piano1w, and piano1d. I really don't notice a difference between the three, but maybe I'm missing something. Does anyone know what those letters mean? Thanks.
