If the midis were played with Windows Media Player I could say it put the volume to 0 when you closed it and you needed to go to the control panel to reset it, but since they are played with Winamp, well I thought about those gm reset, gs reset, etc, but I guess those commands send messages to the keyboard and not to the computer, so not sure... ----- Original Message ----- From: "Nicole Massey" <[email protected]>

No joy -- doesn't work with either midi thru on or off.

I guess you made the same mistake I did a few days ago: check Midi Thru

The shortcut is control+h.

QWS has stopped responding.
I get no sound from it either using BassMIDI or the Microsoft GS Wavetable
Synthesizer. MIDI files still play in Winamp, as does all other audio.
I've
changed nothing on my setup. Files I got full response from a couple of
days
ago now give me nothing.
Any ideas?
