Hi,

Here's how to use the Punch record:

1. Set the Left and Right markers at the beginning and end of the
section you want.  To set these markers, move the cursor to the right
positions and press Shift+L and Shift+R.

If you want, you can check the marks by pressing L and R and the
cursor should jump to these positions.

2. Move back to where you want to start recording.

3. Press P (Punch).

Check it is on by reading the status bar at the bottom.

4.  Press Record (Ctrl+R) as normal.

Remember that Punch stays in effect until you turn it off again.


I've given all the shortcut keys here, but all the commands are also
on the menus.
