Rapture is a virtual synth, the LE light version ships with Sonar, althought it is programmable I tend to use the very many banks of presets - I particulary like the sequenced and rhythmic elements which in many case sync to the midi clock of Sonar. It is sometime a little unstable even within Sonar and that's a known issue by Cakewalk but I tend to find the sound I want, record it and then 'freeze' the track which effectively turns it into an audio track.
There are a few good soft synths in Sonar, like Dimension Pro, and Session Drummer but I guess that's really for another forum, I don't want to take anything away from QWS Chris -------------------------------------------------- From: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, October 23, 2012 10:11 PM To: "QWS list" <[email protected]> Subject: Re: QWS List useing rapture with VST host and QWS I've seen Rapture in Sonar 8.5 before.
