Okay, MIDI is MIDI, and the same message on a MIDI cable will do the same thing no matter what program or machine is sending it. This tells me that something isn't coding correctly if it'll work in Sonar and not in QWS. I'd suggest saving a Sonar file with the information to a standard MIDI file, then open it in QWS to look at the actual content.
