The problem with the Microsoft's synth latency should be solved by time gliding, but you have to mess up with values so don't forget to save the original work.

Firstly, and this is a face-palm for most people, but what's your
metronome set too?
If you tell me the Microsoft GS Wavetable synth, I will cry.
If you use that as a metronome, you are by default, playing with a delay
before you even get started.
If not, then you should be able to quantise using 2, or 4 in the
quantise field, and it should work just fine.
Merry Christmas.

Subject: QWS List Quantizing with qws

Hi Listers, I'am new here, and firstly I want to thank the programmer
for this very good software.

I've problems in quantizing with it, I tried to quantize a drum
pattern that I played but it didn't get quantized to the beat. I've
also tried to play with parameters, but I can't achieve the same
results that I have with Sonar, for example.

I've two drum tracks, one must be quantized to 8, and the charly track
to 16.

How I can do it? I've also read the help, but nothing... I don't have
success.

Thanks in advance and happy holydays!
