For point 2, you can save midi file with markers and save it as a qws midi format. This is playable with any midi software, just there are some extra data for QWS.

Here are 3 suggestions for now, that I hope you could include in future
versions:
1. Save the mute status of tracks, so that when you reload a song
    the tracks are muted/unmuted, as they were when saving and exiting.
2. Save the equivalent of "current cursor position", so that you are
    on the specific track/bar that you were before saving/exiting.
3. With the undo command, show which specific action you
    will undo, like in wavePad and some other software packages,
    e.g. "undo velocity", or "undo quantize".
