Brian, I couldn't have said it better. I will second the "keep up the good work".

It has enabled me to have hours of enjoyment of creating and playing music. Considering the program is free, you have achieved a great deal. Many thanks for your hard work and dedication. I would also like to say a big thanks for the excellent tutorials you have recorded so far. I have found them invaluable. I realise that QWS is probably only a sidelined in your busy life, but please continue to work if you can. I've created a large set of rhythm files for early music settings, and I use them for composition. Any possibility you could squeeze in a shortcut key to the append, like Ctrl+Shift+A, in there? Also, if Ctrl+Shift+S isn't in use and isn't already on the list, that would save a lot of time as the shortcut for Save As. Not sure if that got mentioned yet or not. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of James Bowden Sent: Saturday, May 25, 2013 3:16 PM To: QWS list Subject: Re: QWS List Suggestions for future upgrades to QWS Hi folks, First, just a quick note to David and Raymond say thanks for the suggestions, they are now on the list - which means I have noted them for now. I want to apologise that I have been rather vague or short on the list of late, so please accept my apologies if anything I have written has either been terse or delayed. It's been a very busy time of late. With regard to an update on QWS, I hope to have one out some time soon (no guarantee when because life is busy) and it mainly contains bug fixes. One of them is the changing of the filename when you do File -> append. Several others were to do with things that weren't going properly through the translation system when you used a different language prompt file. So, no major new features this time, but your ideas are still always welcome and I do consider them for when I might have time to work on QWS programming. Thank you all once again for your patience and enthusiasm. With best regards, James. ----- Original Message ----- From: "David (Mr Music)" <[email protected]> To: "QWS list" <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, May 24, 2013 3:15 PM Subject: QWS List Suggestions for future upgrades to QWS Hi James Here are 3 suggestions for now, that I hope you could include in future versions: 1. Save the mute status of tracks, so that when you reload a song the tracks are muted/unmuted, as they were when saving and exiting. 2. Save the equivalent of "current cursor position", so that you are on the specific track/bar that you were before saving/exiting. 3. With the undo command, show which specific action you will undo, like in wavePad and some other software packages, e.g. "undo velocity", or "undo quantize".
