Hi,
Yes, broken cables sounds a possibility.
Perhaps you could also try making the Yamaha play instead of the VST, do you
get stuck notes on the Yamaha then?
Also a reminder about F9, it turns off all notes, so that might be easier
than having to restart VstHost all the time.
