That is very odd indeed. There's no reason why midi messages should be getting filtered like that. Would you like me to upload my old Vst Host, and see if that works for you? I could probably just attach it to a message on the list. It only works for 32 bit, but I assume since you're using the x86 version already, you don't need 64 bit. The VST Host I would upload is a backup I keep, for times when I need to put Vst Host on a new computer. Thus, it has none of my custom settings, at least I don't think it does...

Yes, the MIDI Router is passing program changes, as it handles them with no
problem in the Proteus VX stand-alone, along with all other controller changes.
I've tried about two dozen VSTs so far, and no program changes on any of them.

Hi,
I know very little about the Sonic Foundary Midi router. are you sure
that program changes are coming through it?
Also, some vsts are very touchy as to which messages they will respond
to, and how they operate... have you tried a few different vst plug-
ins?
Sorry I couldn't be of more help, but I just have no clue what's going
on here.

Yeah, I'm using the Sonic Foundry Virtual MIDI router, and I get
notes, no problem, now. I had to run the VSTHost 32 bit Bridge as well.
But I don't get program changes from QWS into the VST, and only a few
controller changes. So I'm wondering if there's something else I need
to set to make these happen.

have you installed any virtual cables and things like midi yoke and
the like? yOu need tomake sure they are configured propperly (out
tomidi yoke 1) and in the vst host settings (in from midi yoke 1)
and
also sometimes midi lcock helps, other times it doesn't work well...
I hope this answers something, or be more specific if this does not
work or you already configured it.

I'm having trouble getting the program to respond properly to QWS.
I
can play it from the keyboard, but QWS can't find it. And since I
can't find a way to move through the presets in VSTHost, I can't
audition the range of sounds, either.

I'm running an old version of a 32 bit VST Host. What exactly are
you
having trouble with?

Anyone out there using vsthostx86? I'm trying to connect to some
VSTs for additional sounds in QWS, but since I have no manual for
it and there's no real help file, there's a lot of head
scratching
going on.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
