Hi Kevin,
Good to hear from you.
I guess you're using the File -> Append command in qWS.
This does not add to the end of existing tracks, but adds new tracks.
For example, Let's assume you first loaded a file having 3 tracks:
Piano on channel 1;
Bass on channel 2;
Drums on channel 10.
Now you used File -> Append to load a second file having 2 tracks:
Piano on 1 and Guitar on 2.
So now, you have 5 tracks loaded:
Piano on 1;
Bass on 2;
Drums on 10;
Piano on 1 (again);
Guitar on 2 (again).
So, in order to move the new track to the end of the sequence, you'll need
to use the Cut and Paste commands.

So, I imagine in your case, you are loading several drum tracks, and using
the File -> Append command, they are all loaded at the beginning. But you
have say, 4 tracks when you Append them, actually what you want is just 1
long track. So, just use the Cut and Paste commands to move the extra track
data where you need it.
Afterwards, you can clean up the extra (now empty) tracks using the Track ->
Delete command.
Hope this helps.
With best regards,
James.

Subject: QWS List Drum Tracks
Hi,...I'mtrying to build a drum track using midi files from "groove
monkey",...
How do I go about add 2, and 4 measure files to my drum track in QWS?...
For instance,...I want to start with a intro,...then add 8 to 16 bar
grooves, with fills, and end with a 2 to 4 bar ending...
It seems that each time I try to add a additional midi file,...it doesn't
add to the end of the existing track,...I must be missing something?
Thanks,
Kevin Brown
