Hi Nicole,
I've just tried it with my Roland Fantom-XR and the answer was no.
Here's what I did:
Use RPN 0 to set the pitch bend to 12 semitones.
Play a note and bend it up.
Then delete the RPN settings, send Reset Controllers and play again.
The note still bent up the previous anount.
I don't know if this behaviour is similar for other instruments, ut I hope
this helps.
